Sounding Board

The Mayor and City Council have appointed a citizen "sounding board" to assist with public involvement and provide supplemental input to the zoning rewrite project team. The seven-member panel supplements--does not replace--the broader public involvement that will occur during the project.

According to the resolution establishing the group (Resolution 2012-02-01), the sounding board "is charged with assisting the project team in promoting public input sessions [and] advising on public workshop exercises..." They will serve as a valuable touchstone to the diversity of community values that the new ordinances must reflect. We welcome their involvement in the project as we do the involvement of all Dunwoody residents and property owners.
